About Miranda Scalzo, CCC-A, Au.D., B.S.
Dr. Miranda Scalzo is a Clinical Audiologist at the Hearing and Speech Center, Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, at 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She holds a Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from James Madison University in Harrisonburg Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Delaware. Dr. Scalzo is certified in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She presently maintains membership in ASHA.
Dr. Scalzo completed her Audiology Residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her clinical expertise includes diagnosis of pediatric and adult hearing loss, otoacoustic emission (OAE) testing, audiologic rehabilitation including management of hearing aids, bone anchored hearing aid devices and cochlear implants for the adult and pediatric populations, and electrophysiological testing including Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP) testing.
